POA (HKAR-21) Training Course

Course Introduction

Duration : 2 Days ( 9:00 - 17:30 )


The general course breakdown for this 2-day training course is as follows:
During the first day the POA concept, history and legal and regulatory system of Hong Kong SAR, evolution of POA will be explained in general terms. This will be followed by a detailed presentation of HKAR-21 Subpart G Production Organisation Approval Requirements, AMC and GM. On the second day 2 Production Organisation Exposition will be shown for clarification and better understanding how to draft such a handbook.
The course will also give a presentation of the POA application process and working procedures. The instructor will explain the initial investigation, surveillance and approval of significant changes to the PO. The course will be finished by a panel discussion.

Course Objectives 

At the end of this 2 - day training program, the total 19 course attendees should have a sound
understanding of airworthiness concept, Hong Kong aviation regulatory system, POA (HKAR-21)
certification requirements and CAD procedures on type certification, modification and repair,
certification arrangement with other Authorities.

Who Should Attend

Manager and staff of applicants or holders of DOA, POA, HPMA, HTSOA, VSTC, minor
modifications and repairs; AOC operators, HKAR-183 ODA and staff of Aviation
Authorities .
