
Macao Airworthiness Course
Course Introduction
This 5 - day course will introduce the Airworthiness aspects for all activities associated with Civil Aircraft operating in Macao.
The course will cover the background to the current regulations; develop all aspects of certification and operation from the design concept approval through Design Approval to Production, Operation and Continued Airworthiness. A common thread will run through the whole course taking in Type Certification, Supplemental Type Certification, changes (modifications) and repairs at all levels, approvals to support Design, Production for the TC holder, Operational Approvals, Continued Airworthiness Management under Part AOC through maintenance activities of Part 145 and the certification of personnel through Parts 66 and 147.
Course Objectives
This 5-day course demonstrates how airworthiness and safety regulation is controlled in Macao and provides an overview of the processes and procedures used by the Civil Aviation Authority of Macao (AACM) to ensure that individuals, manufacturers, operators and
maintenance organisations comply with the relevant airworthiness regulations, setting this work in the international context established by International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
