
HKAR -145 Training Course
Course Introduction

The HKAR-145 training is a three-day training course covering all aspects of 145 in detail including the Requirements, Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Materials (GM). The Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) as required by HKAR-145 is discussed. The training course is good for professionals from aircraft maintenance organisations.
The course also gives an overview of relevant sections of other requirements such as CAD 360 Part-M (both for maintenance and for continuing airworthiness management), 21, 66 and 147.
The participants receive hand-outs of all presentations, HKAR-145 and the corresponding AMC and GM material, CAD 360 and other CAD publications.
The training materials is referred throughout the training course. The PPTs give the main points of the requirements. The instructors elaborate on these PPTs based on their knowledge of the requirements and experience in their application. Questions from the participants and discussions are part of the course. This makes the training more interactive and lively, which improves understanding and learning.
LCAS will dialog with CAD to provide additional information to the participants and feed back to CAD.

Course Objectives

The participants will explore the HKAR-145 requirements in this training course and know how to determine corporate and individual responsibility to ensure the organisation meets the HKAR-145 requirements.
By the end of this course, the participants will be able to:

secure knowledge of the key requirements of HKAR-145;

provide examples as to the ‘know how’ as well as the ‘know what’ by looking at a practical perspective of HKAR-145;

implement HKAR-145 within an Organisation;

understand the Interface between 145, 66 / 147 and CAD OPS; and
-
provide a regulatory and industry perspective for personnel involved in aircraft maintenance.
