
Macao Aircraft Acceptance and Introduction Course
Course Introduction
This 5-day course will cover aircraft acceptance and introduction process for all activities associated with civil aircraft operating in Macao.
The course will cover the background to the current regulations; development of all aspects of certification and operation process from the acceptance of a new aircraft to the introduction of services. A common thread will run through the important technical elements including but without limitation to Type Certification, Acceptance of Aircraft Type, Supplemental Type Certificate, Changes (modifications) and Repairs at all levels, Operational Approvals, Continued Airworthiness Management through maintenance activities of Part 145 and the certification of personnel through Parts 66 and 147 as well as other processes leading to the final acceptance of the aircraft by AACM to the issuance of C of A. In addition, the course will cover some important commercial aspects such as the selection process for aircraft , initial provisioning for technical inventory before aircraft’s entry into service (EIS) , aircraft acceptance project control and management etc.
Course Objectives
This 5-day course demonstrates how aircraft acceptance and introduction to service is processed in Macao and provides an overview of the process and procedure used by the Civil Aviation Authority of Macao (AACM) to ensure that individuals, manufacturers, operators and maintenance organisations comply with the relevant airworthiness regulations, setting this work in the international context established by International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
