The general course breakdown for this 2-day training course is as follows:
During the first day the Airworthiness Concept and Legal Framework of Hong Kong will be
explained in general terms. This will be followed by a presentation of HKAR-21 Requirements, AMC and GM

Subpart B - Type Certificates;

Subpart D - Changes to Type Certificates;

Subpart E - Supplemental Type Certificates;

Subpart G - Production Organisation Approval;
-
Subpart H - Certificates of Airworthiness;

Subpart I - Noise Certificates;

Subpart J - Design Organisation Approval

Subpart K - Materials, Parts, Processes and Appliances,
-
Subpart M - Repairs,
-
Subpart O - Hong Kong Technical Standard Order (HTSO) Authorisations

Subpart Q - Identification of Products, Parts and Appliances.

CAD procedures will be covered in the following subjects:
1) The validation process of Type Certification
2) Approval procedures on modification and repair
3) Acceptance/validation of foreign products on HK registered aircraft
The HKAR-21 2 day course will end in Panel Discussion by sharing experience between CAD
officer and industry partners.
Course Objectives

At the end of this 2 - day training course the attendees should have an understanding of airworthiness concept, Hong Kong aviation regulatory system, HKAR-21 certification requirements and CAD procedures on type certification, modification and repair, certification arrangement with other Authorities.

Manager and staff of applicants or holders of DOA, POA, HPMA, HTSOA, VSTC, minormodifications and repairs; AOC operators, HKAR-183 ODA and staff of Aviation Authorities
